When we are acting for you in a remortgage, we are also acting for the lender. This means that we have to check that the property continues to provide acceptable security for the lender. So there will be certain information and documents we need to see, such as building regulations and planning consent for any works which you have undertaken at the property, up to date searches and, if the property is leasehold, an up to date management pack.
So, the third party costs you have to pay will differ depending on your particular circumstances.
Our fixed fee for the legal work involved in acting for you and your lender on a remortgage is £500 plus VAT plus disbursements.
